Clinical Chemistry is the study of the Chemical components of the blood.

Some of these components include: Cholesterol, Glucose, Calcium, to name but a few of the hundreds of tests categorized and performed by the Clinical Chemistry section of the lab.

Dr. Elliot Krauss, Chairman of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as sub-specialty board certification in Clinical Chemistry.
