Pathology Associates of Princeton, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice, is pleased to include Malary M. Mani, M.D., as a member of its dynamic medical staff. Dr. Mani has an extensive academic, research, and medical professional background.
Dr. Mani received her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, graduating with honors from the University of Washington – Seattle, in Washington State. Subsequently, she earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where she graduated with honors in histology, pharmacology, and medical ethics, and was the recipient of the AUC Executive Dean Transformational Award. She went on to complete an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, where she served as chief resident in her final year. She also received training in hematopathology as a fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she completed an elective rotation. She concluded her postgraduate training with a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she also completed an elective rotation at the City of Hope Cancer and Research Center.
Upon completion of her postgraduate training, Dr. Mani began contributing to research efforts of the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Washington. As a researcher, she worked under the direction of Dr. Andy Chien, performing various laboratory techniques, and creating a collection of over 100 different cell lines. She has received numerous awards and honors and has shared her knowledge and expertise through lectures and volunteer work at the Pediatric Burn Unit at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and for Project H.E.L.P. (Health, Education, Literacy, and Prevention).
Over the years, Dr. Mani has developed extensive professional medical experience. She holds medical research publications and articles in peer-reviewed medical journals as well as numerous abstracts, and oral and poster presentations at professional medical meetings. She is an active member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, College of American Pathologists, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists.
Dr. Mani holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and hematopathology.
